Kerala Truely Live Up The Title "Gods Own Country"

Travel Planners team set to discover the beauty of Kerala last month reached there for a weeks exploration. It was not a monsoon time when we reached there. The locals say the place looks amazing during the monsoon. When we reached Kochi we felt the climate to be hot and humid. It is like that during this time of the year says the local inhabitant and our coach driver, Chandran.

We learned that there are 44 rivers, a vast network of lakes, 1500 kms of labyrinthine canals, snake boat races, over 300 species of birds, floating markets. India, a country with vast diversities. Geographical and cultural diversities. Traveling to a country like India is like experiencing every aspect of diversities that nature has provided for the man kind
As per the diversities India is divided into 28 states. Each of these 28 states has got different language, culture and overall the topography might completely change when you move form one state to another.
Taking India a general, the country has a tropical humid climate, although while towards the northern parts of the country it is rather dryer. Jammu and Kashmir which is he northern most state of India is mostly a
hill area. Most of the cities are located on high altitudes along the Himalayan ranges. This being the coolest part of India and has got the hills covered with snow during the winter, this is an ideal place for ice skating.
There is a place where a billboard placed there reads " If There is a heaven on Earth, It is right here, right here, right here. The southern parts of the country is bordered by Arabian Sea in the West, Bay of Bengal
towards the East and Indian ocean towards the South. Kerala and Tamilnadu are the southern most state. Kerala is one of the hottest travel destinations of the world and is often referred to as Gods own country owing to the wonderful natural beauty of this place.
