Venice, Italy
Over the years Venice have become a synonym of beauty. The city is also known as "city of canals" taking inspiration from the well networked water bodies connecting the 117 small islands spread across the Venetian Lagoon. The New york Times rated Venice as the most beautiful city build by man and Times Online called it the most romantic place to visit. Buildings border the canals on both sides, most of them multi coloured and adds to the beauty of the place. Most amazing fact is that the buildings are built on the wood piles brought from Slovenia and Croatia. In that sense Venice is also known as a floating city. Lack of oxygen under water prevents the corrosion but the city holds the threat of sinking due to the construction of artesian wells, which later was banned in 1960. Studies now show that the city is no longer sinking. Tourism contributes heavily to the economy of the City with 50000 visitors per day and is one of the most sought after tourist destinations. Venice is also a favourite destination for the rich and famous. The art, fashion and lifestyle attracts those having their pockets deep to the city.

Bora bora Island

Bora bora over the years have developed into a much sought after international travel destination. The name is believed to have been originated from Pora Pora which in Tahitian language means "first-born". The island is a part of society islands of French Polynesia. The island also has a historical significance as a US military base during the world war II until the base was close in 1960. However many American personnel chose to remain  in the island after the base shut down. The huge naval cannons and other military installation of the the period also attracts tourists. But the main attraction is still aqua-centric. Over the years the island found many luxury resorts sprouting in all directions across the bay. Most of the resorts have their rooms over the lagoons with transparent floors to give the maximum view of the ocean creatures.

There are more than 6 flights every day to the Bora bora Airport from Tahiti and other islands. The language spoken by the locals are mainly French and Tahitian. But most of them can speak English fluently. Americans, Japanese and European Travelers contribute the majority tourist population to the island.
